2009 went so fast!
It was a great year for us and we photographed some truly amazing weddings. The year kicked off well in January with an incredible trip to Arizona where we attended a 4 day wedding photographers convention, the seminars were excellent.
We stayed on for a couple of extra days and fulfilled a life time ambition and visited the Grand Canyon, it was a great fun driving through the desert to the Canyon in a Pontiac Cabriolet.
Having lived in Sweden for 25 years it was time to come home and in June we moved our lives and business back to England. It is so nice living back in England again! Marianne also loves living here and it is a new adventure for her. I have even started eating Marmite again - Marianne reckons you have to be born here to even think about it.
In November we held a large exhibition of our work in Stockholm, we received many wonderful comments about our photography and style which really pleased us. During 2009 we received a number of awards for our wedding photography by the The Wedding Photojournalist Association which was also very pleasing.
2010 here we come!
We have many amazing weddings to look forward to and they will be taking us all around London and all over the UK. We also have weddings booked in Norway, Sweden and France.
In February we have been invited by the The Association of Swedish Professional Photographers to hold a seminar and talk about our work. This will be held in the very north of Sweden within the Arctic Circle and we are greatly looking forward to it - a few days later we will be leaving the snow landscape with its freezing temperatures and will be arriving in the heat and chaos of Mumbai for a short holiday in India.
In April we will be holding a large exhibition of our work in Gothenburg and we hope to be holding an exhibition in London this Autumn.
In June I shall be one of the official accredited photographers at the Royal Swedish Wedding between Crown Princess Victoria and her fiance Daniel Westling. I have been assigned by Sweden's leading picture agency, as yet I do not know what part of the wedding I will photograph but it will be an amazing experience.

We have just become members of The National Trust and in our ever on-going campaign to keep fit we will now join their merry band of walkers! The picture above shows our (not so romantic) Christmas presents to each other - decent walking boots!
During 2010 we plan to walk along parts of the Cornish Coastline and to walk across Dartmoor. In the Autumn we hope to visit the Lake District for a walking holiday. Gone were the days when you had to rough it on a walking holiday now days you can stay at lovely small hotels and dine well in the evening and the hotels transport your luggage for you to the next hotel which means you do not have to carry anything.
