Rebecka & Andreas's Wedding
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
| |
Rebecka & Andreas got married at Karlbergs Slott on the 14th of April, they also held their reception at this beautiful castle which was built in 1630 and has been used as a military academy since 1792.
Rebecka was relaxed and looked beautiful, they had fantastic weather with clear blue skies and a temperature of 21°, a great Spring day - just the week before it had been snowing in Stockholm.
I was pleased with this shot taken at an unusual angle, when the Vicar, Rebecka & Andreas were facing the front I quietly and quickly walked up the aisle and took 3 frames holding the camera on the floor using a wide angle lens ƒ1.4.

I took this picture yesterday of St. Brides Church off Fleet Street in the city.
It is the eighth church on the site and people have been worshiping there for over 1500 years.
St Brides steeple is the highest spire or steeple that Wren ever built and was the inspiration for the first tiered wedding cake. |

Ben Watt photographed with his Swedish publisher Bodil Malmsten.
Ben was visiting Sweden to launch his autobiographical book, 'Patient' (1996) which describes his fight against a rare life-threatening auto-immune disease.
Ben is the other half of the duo Everything But The Girl with partner Tracy Thorn.
The outside of the premises was dark and drab and I was expecting the worse - I entered and found.....bollywood !! - wow - the walls were in multi colours and colourful drapes and curtains separated the working spaces there was even a built in water feature in the floor and in one area there was a projector showing green bubbles on a wall - bollywood with a sixties touch - and great back drops for me to use.

Today we had our planning rehearsal with Hannah & Gareth from England who will be getting married at the English Church in Stockholm.
We had a good visit to both the church and venue - Stockholm was showing its best side with glorious spring sunshine - lets hope it does so on August the 11th.
Nick (Nicholas Howe) is a wonderful chaplain and puts all bridal couples immediately at ease with his calm and considerate manner. |
